Questions, answered.
Ask us directlyN.01Do I need a permit for a patio cover in Los Angeles?
Patio covers over code size need a permit in most Los Angeles-area cities. Size, height, setbacks and attachment to the house all matter. We check your city's and HOA's rules during the design visit and pull the permit.
N.02Who pulls the permit?
We do. Plans, submittals, inspections and sign-off are handled by ReDone.
N.03Solid cover or louvered pergola?
A solid cover gives full shade and rain protection. A louvered pergola lets you open or close the roof. We can show both in the 3D design.
N.04How long does a patio cover take?
Typically 1 to 2 weeks to build. Your contract lists your exact dates.
N.05Can you add lights and a fan?
Yes. Power for lights and fans is planned with the structure so wiring is hidden.
